There could not have been a more appropriate venue: At the last bauma, crane service provider Schmidbauer officially took delivery of its new Tadano GTC-2000. The crane was handed over by Tadano Sales Manager Hans Asam to CEO Stefan Schmidbauer, who was visibly thrilled with his new acquisition. “The concept behind the GTC-2000 really won us over: It’s remarkably powerful, extraordinarily reliable, and extremely easy to operate.
Needless to say, that’s something our team really values – in every single Tadano crane,” he underscored while signing the contract. And a quick look at the Schmidbauer fleet backs him up: The company currently has around 75 Tadano cranes from Lauf and Zweibrücken hard at work.
It is worth adding that the Schmidbauer team is happy with more than just the machines. In fact, Stefan Schmidbauer has nothing but praise for Tadano’s Service Team: “We know that we can count on Tadano Service 100% at any time. Their team always finds a fast and effective solution regardless of what the issue is, and that obviously played a part in our decision to get another Tadano,” he explains. Immediately after its appearance at the trade show as a demo crane, the GTC-2000 made its trip directly to Schmidbauer’s premises in Gräfelfing, where the Schmidbauer crane operator team underwent intensive briefing. At that point, the crane was already eagerly expected at the Boppard wind farm, where it has been carrying out its first assignments as an assist and setup crane since.
